The art of Graphic design, in my opinion, is the cross-section between art, business and communications. Working with a graphic designer allows you to explore visually the goals of your business through learning how to communicate to your target audience. Design, then, is the "art" part in the mix of communication. Grids, colour balancing, organization, focal points, layout design, and photo retouching are some of the aspects included here. Finally, a good graphic designer, like myself, should be able to interpret the goals of your business, which can be increasing revenues, gathering a larger audience or reaching out to more people, or even public awareness.
